Abigail Leavins, Director of Outreach, Video Director
Abigail has been the director of outreach at The Badger Herald since January 2023. She also serves as the video director and was previously arts editor and news and features associate editor at the Herald. Abigail has worked at local news outlets NBC15, WORT radio, Madison Commons and Isthmus. Her favorite stories to cover are about labor unions fighting for justice, which she has done for Labor Radio, the UW J-School's Curb Magazine and the Wisconsin Examiner. She hopes to pursue a career in labor or political reporting.Â
