A UW student reported a sexual assault to UWPD that occurred around 3 a.m. Saturday at Ogg Residence Hall, according to a UWPD statement.

The victim and alleged offender know each other, according to the statement.

UWPD is currently investigating the sexual assault.

A UW student reported to her house fellow Thursday an attempted sexual assault that occurred at 12 a.m. April 10 at Chadbourne Residence Hall.

UWPD was notified of the assault on Friday.

The student reported that “she was walking down a hallway when an unknown male pulled her into a room, hit her and attempted to touch her inappropriately,” according to a UWPD statement.

UWPD is not investigating the sexual assault because it was not reported to them directly, according to the statement.
