Seven-piece indie rock band San Fermin did not fail to blow the minds of the packed house at the High Noon Saloon Wednesday night.
Brain-rattling performances by John Brandon on the trumpet and Stephen Chen on the saxophone were beautifully paired with Allen Tate and Charlene Kaye’s vocals. This created an epic night of music mastery that will forever echo in the minds of those who were there to experience this eclectic collection of soul-awakening lyrics.
Audience favorites included “Sonsick,” “Bar,” and “Dead.” San Fermin also treated fans to a few songs off their new album, Jackrabbit, such as”Emily” and “Woods.”

After the main set was over, and before the audience could even pick up their jaws from the ground, all seven members of the band came back on stage for a blissful encore that included Tate and Kaye jumping off stage to serenade a few lucky Fermin fanatics.
Needless to say, all witnesses of this unorthodox mash up of a band — composed of a keyboardist, guitarist, drummer, saxophonist, trumpeter, violinist and vocalists — left High Noon Saloon ears-ringing and hungry for more.
