Audrey Thibert, Senior Reporter
Audrey Thibert is a voting member on the Board of Directors. She previously served as 2022-23 managing editor of The Badger Herald and covers stories related to sexual violence, mental health and underrepresented student groups on campus. Audrey received the 2024 Overseas Press Club Foundation Scholar Award for her extensive international reporting, which has included coverage of migration, local business, culture and economics in Bizerte, Tunisia last summer as a reporting fellow for the Pulitzer Center University of Wisconsin Campus Consortium. That work can be found here. Audrey is a senior at UW majoring in journalism and anthropology with a certificate in Middle East studies. She hopes to pursue a career in foreign correspondence.
