Local Wendy’s managers have confirmed the popular fast food chain will be opening a new location on State Street.
Fitchburg Wendy’s Manager Steve Kirchenbeit said the new Wendy’s is scheduled to open on State Street sometime in January.
Kirchenbeit said the new Wendy’s will be in the building that used to house Taco Bell. He added the store does not know exactly when they will open, but they are “shooting” for the January opening.
