The Revelry Music and Arts Festival is slated to take place on May 3 this year, and the Wisconsin Union Directorate is considering using Langdon Street as the new location.
The Langdon location still needs approval from city officials, with meetings set over the next few weeks, said Annie Paul, vice president of Leadership Development for the Union Council, in a meeting Thursday night.
Although headlining acts are booked, no names have been publicly released, Paul said.
The council also approved the creation of a two new director positions in the Wisconsin Union Directorate to head the Memorial Union Entertainment committee, one of which will focus on the Revelry Music and Arts Festival.
