Madison Police Department responded to East Towne Mall about an unresponsive man in a restroom who overdosed on heroin Sunday evening.
Police administered narcan to revive suspect Jesse Irish, who has been arrested for possession of heroin and a probation hold violation, according to an MPD incident report.

A metal spoon, syringes and other drug paraphernalia were found next to Irish, who later admitted to injecting heroin, the report said.

The local hospital medically cleared Irish. He was booked on possession of heroin and a probation hold violation, the report said.
