Madison Police Department responded to a call at the Nitty Gritty late Friday night.
According to Madison Police Chief Mike Koval’s significant calls blog, the 30 year old male suspect was arrested after punching a bouncer. The suspect also threatened to go to his car and get a gun.
The suspect had been denied entry due to his high level of intoxication, the blog said.

After police arrested the suspect he was taken to jail on charges of disorderly conduct and battery.
