The Madison Police Department arrested a 22-year-old man Saturday after he reportedly sexually assaulted a woman on the 1500 block of Jefferson Street.
The incident occurred Saturday around 3 p.m. during an afternoon house party.
According to the incident report, the victim, a 19-year-old female, was intoxicated at the time of the incident.

Those at the party intervened and reported the crime to MPD, the incident report said.
The suspect, Zachary Vannatta, was located at his home later in the day and taken into custody for 2nd degree sexual assault charges.
