An unidentified male punched a 27-year-old man outside of Red Rock Saloon on 322 West Johnson Street early Saturday morning.
According to a Madison Police Department incident report, the victim said his assailant bumped into him inside the bar and delivered the blow unprovoked. Madison Fire Department paramedics treated the victim for a broken nose he suffered during the encounter.
Police describe the unidentified suspect as white, between 6 feet 2 inches and 6 feet 4 inches with short blonde hair and stocky build.
