A Madison thief took New York City’s fashion week to heart, stealing almost $3,000 worth of jeans early Wednesday morning.

A burglar stole around 20 pairs of Rock Revival jeans from East Towne Mall’s Buckle at approximately 7 a.m.

In a report issued by the Madison Police Department, Buckle employees said “someone lifted up a security gate by a few inches in order to gain access to the store.”

The report said the burglar stole an estimated $2,800 worth of pants.
