A moped and truck collided on the intersection of Park Street and University Avenue Monday afternoon.
The driver of the a Chevrolet Silverado truck said cars started slowing down in front of him, which led him to slow down, and the moped ran into the back of his truck. He said the moped driver went to the hospital so they could examine his leg.
Madison Police Department officer Tim Smith said it was a minor accident. He said the driver of the moped was conscious and breathing.

Smith did not confirm if the moped driver was a University of Wisconsin student.
