MONONA (AP) – A man and a woman have been rescued from Lake Monona after falling through the ice while fishing Wednesday.
The Dane County Sheriff’s Office says the sheriff’s boat patrol used an airboat to rescue the two.
WISC-TV reports the Monona Police Department, fire and emergency medical services also responded.

The two were taken to a Madison hospital to be checked for exposure.
