Coming from the great state of New York, Eric Doucette made his way to Madison, where, for nearly the past two years, he has been sharpening his musical chops with the outfit Circus Fires. The band, known for playing around town on numerous stages, is on a brief hiatus from gigging to focus on the upcoming release of its debut album, All Living Things. On this edition of Live and Local, the Badger Herald sat down with Doucette to discuss the album, what brings him to town and just how lousy it is to play parties where nobody listens.
