An apartment on Fahrenbrook Court was the site of a targeted armed robbery Tuesday afternoon after five men walked in through an unlocked door and demanded money.
The victim, a 20-year-old man, called police to report the robbery Wednesday morning, according to a Madison police report. The victim told police five men walked into his apartment through an unlocked door, the report said.
The victim said one man had a handgun and demanded money, according to the report. The report said the victim gave him some money, and the group then left the premises.
Ald. Scott Resnick, District 8, said the incident appeared targeted and the public does not need to worry.
“This appears not to be a random occurrence,” Resnick said. “So the public is not in any danger.”
Resnick said the investigation into the incident is ongoing.
