Hundreds of students descended on Union South to welcome the school year with the annual Sunburst Festival. Free food, rock climbing, cheese tasting, a cappella performances and team trivia gave students a taste of what the union has to offer.
Though there was much to do at the festival, there were far more people than activities at the festival, which resulted in excessive lines. The crowded building left many students standing in line for most the festival.
Students rock climbed for prizes at the climbing wall in The Sett.
Air Hockey, video games, pool and bowling were available free of charge.
Long lines stretched across the union, frustrating students and making it difficult to move around.
Cheese tasting gave students a chance to experience the Dairy State’s pride and joy.
