The Department of Revenue is going mobile and promoting its new smartphone app which allows individuals to track the status of their income tax refund.
The app’s functionality will include state tax refund look-up, tax payments estimates, videos and department news updates, tax help website resources and contact information.
The department expects 80 percent of the three million tax returns for this year will be done electronically, according to reporting by the Associated Press.

The app is available in the Google Play Store for Android devices and the App Store for Apple devices.
