Man cited after allegedly attempting to jump over moving car

A 22-year-old Nebraska man was cited early Saturday after he allegedly tried to jump over a moving taxi cab.

According to a police report, Bryce N. Consbruck ran into traffic near the intersection of West Gorham Street and North Broom Street around 2 a.m. before attempting to jump over the vehicle.

Consbruck, who was intoxicated at the time of the incident, suffered facial injuries and was taken to a local hospital, the report said.

Police cited Consbruck for sudden pedestrian movement.

While speaking with police, Consbruck promised to “never try and jump over a moving car again,” the report said.
