Capt. Peter Ystenes was fired from the University of Wisconsin Police Department Wednesday, according to the Wisconsin State Journal.
The State Journal reported Ystenes was fired during an ongoing investigation into the improper use of “camera and computer equipment.” Ystenes had been with UWPD since 1996.
Department officials could not be reached for comment and declined to comment further in a brief statement earlier today.
