Two men in their 20s threatened a resident with a handgun on the 400 block of Mifflin Street early Sunday morning.

According to a Madison Police Department incident report:

The 22-year-old victim answered the back door of his home where two men — one in pajama pants — said they were looking for a woman.

The resident told them no one by the name they gave was at the house. But one of the men responded by pulling out a handgun while the other moved to block the door with his arm.

The victim slammed the door, bolted it shut and called the police. The men left the scene.

It was unclear if the suspects had the right address.
