Vinehout’s spokesperson Joel Nilsestuen said the senator is recovering from her recent accident and is in Eau Claire, where she is expected to meet with local doctors.
“Her husband Doug said she looked like she may have surgery,” Nilsetuen, said. “She sustained multiple fractures to her arm.”
According to her Facebook page, Vinehout was making trips around Wisconsin in Kenosha and Racine to gain support for a possible run for governor before the accident occurred.
Nilsestuen said he does not know whether Vinehout will continue to speak to audiences.
Vinehout is expected to announce if she will campaign for governor in early 2014. If she announces, she would be facing Mary Burke for the Democrats.
