One of the most provocative and unabashedly sexual artists out there is Canadian rocker Peaches, who burst on the scene in 2000 with the emphatically titled track, “Fuck the Pain Away.”
On September 25, she drops her fifth studio album, Rub, and will play the Majestic on October 16. Peaches’ sexually energy and provocative feminist imagery inspires this playlist.
Don’t forget the feminist anthem “Oh Bondage, Up Yours!” from way back in punk’s heyday in ’77. Another highlight is a Clash cover from controversial Russian punk band Pussy Riot. Rock on!
