Tonight, The Badger Herald will be bringing the public forum directly to the student body, as we host a debate between the College Democrats and the College Republicans.
With the presidential campaign slowly moving its focus toward Wisconsin, this university has the perfect opportunity to seriously debate the issues of this nation and state that hang in the balance with the upcoming election.
The questions will focus on topics including immigration, the Iraq war, health care and energy policy.
We encourage you to come prepared with a critical perspective, as three follow-up questions will be asked from students in attendance.
This event may be one of the first of its kind at UW, yet we hope it will not be the last. With your participation, we can be assured it won?t.
