With about 30,000 people partaking in the 11th annual Halloween celebration on State Street Saturday evening, no serious incidents were reported.
According to the Madison Police Department, a total of 13 people were arrested, with only one sent to jail before 1 a.m. The rest were mostly citations.
Last year, Freakfest saw 34,000 attendees, with a total of nine arrests and two people sent to jail.

All in all, MPD was pleased State Street’s annual block party stayed in check.
