Police arrested Madison resident, Jonathan G. Evenson following the investigation of sexual assault on State Street that occurred earlier this month.
A 22-year-old victim was intoxicated and celebrating her birthday, when Evenson, 37, allegedly approached her as she was walking down State Street around 1 a.m. on Sept. 5, a Madison Police Department statement said. Evenson allegedly sexually assaulted the victim at his downtown office and West Side residence after offering her some ecstasy, the statement said.
Evenson was arrested on tentative charges of four counts of second degree sexual assault, the statement said.
