Did you think the week of your elementary school book fair was the greatest week ever?
If so, your time has come again. The semi-annual Friends of the UW-Madison Libraries used book sale, the largest used book sale in the state, kicks off this Wednesday. The 15,000-plus item preview sale will begin at 4 p.m. in room 116 of Memorial Library. Entrance to the preview sale will cost $5.
The free entry stage of the sale will begin at 10:30 a.m. both Thursday and Friday.
If you’re looking to get some bargain buys, Saturday boasts the “bag sale” starting at 10:30 a.m. and going until 1 p.m. For four dollars, you can fill your own grocery-sized bag with as many books as you can fit. You can also buy a bag there for one dollar.
At 1:05 p.m. Saturday, all remaining books will be given away until 2 p.m., marking the end of the used book sale.
