University of Wisconsin Provost Paul DeLuca announced to students, staff and faculty Tuesday that UW has openings for two vice provost positions, welcoming both nominations and applications.
DeLuca said in a campus-wide email that Vice Provost for Faculty and Staff Steve Stern and Interim Vice Provost for Teaching and Learning Christopher Olsen would be stepping down this year.
Both Olsen and Stern will be returning to their faculty positions full-time, DeLuca said.
The vice provost position is held on a rotating basis that is available for tenured faculty spanning terms of three to five years.
DeLuca will be conducting the search for both vice provost positions. Both postings for the vice provost for faculty and staff and vice provost for teaching and learning positions can be found online.
