Female victim sexually assaulted at fraternity house on Saturday

A female victim reported being sexually assaulted at a University of Wisconsin fraternity house on May 3, the day of the Revelry Arts and Music Festival and the Mifflin Street Block Party.

According to a UW Police Department Timely Warning emailed to campus, police received information about the assault early Monday morning.

The victim told police she was sexually assaulted twice on Saturday at an off-campus fraternity house. She did not provide police with information about the suspect.

UWPD spokesperson Marc Lovicott said police cannot release any information about the victim and declined to confirm if she is a UW student.

“It seems the victim doesn’t want to press charges or give any information to us,” Lovicott said.

Anyone with information about the incident is encouraged to contact UWPD at (608)-264-COPS.

We will update this story with new information as it becomes available.
