After a giant win over then-No. 1 Ohio State, the No. 10 Wisconsin football team heads on the road for another tough matchup against No. 13 Iowa.
The Hawkeyes control their Big Ten fate, something the Badgers can’t say. If Iowa runs the table, it will find itself in a BCS bowl again, as UI plays UW, MSU and OSU in a stretch starting this week.
UW head coach Bret Bielema got a signature conference win, but is still searching for a win over a ranked Big Ten foe on the road. This is his chance, and the Badgers’ last chance to try and stay alive in the hunt for the Rose Bowl. Wisconsin’s loss at Michigan State means UW needs to win out and hope for some help.
But all the focus is in Iowa City today.
Both teams play smashmouth football and aren’t particularly fancy. It will be an old school battle in the trenches for Wisconsin and Iowa, as one of the nation’s best defensive lines takes on one of the nation’s top offensive lines.
