As they face off tonight, the Wisconsin Badgers and Michigan Wolverines are two teams on different paths at this point in their respective seasons.
At the same time, however, both teams have something to prove.
UW is looking to prove it still belongs among the best teams in the Big Ten with junior forward Jon Leuer sidelined.
Michigan, on the other hand, is hoping to continue its recent hot streak and prove the Wolverines are also among the best teams in the conference, despite a tough start to the season.
With one of the nation’s best inside-outside combinations in Manny Harris and DeShawn Sims, the Wolverines’ offense should test the Badgers, especially with the lack of size following Leuer’s injury.
Tonight’s game promises to be a good matchup, and the Kohl Center crowd should be ready to give the Badgers a boost with one of the nation’s best home court advantages.
