Shrekfest 2016 exceeded all expectations and was far too crazy to describe using simply words. Shrekfest was a day of activities ranging from an onion eating competition, retro “Shrek” video games, a costume competition, live bands and much more.

3GI Industries, a comedy “goof troupe,” hosted the Saturday event and supplied refreshments at James Madison Park. Doing a great job maintaining Madison’s weird reputation, Shrekfest was just as fun as it was strange. To experience the madness, The Badger Herald documented Madison’s weirdest party with video for your viewing pleasure.
