Gov. Scott Walker would not like this, but he would probably still eat it.
In spirit of the Wisconsin primary, where U.S. Sen. Bernie Sanders, D-Vermont, surged over past Secretary of State Hillary Clinton Tuesday night, the Appleton Beer Factory outside of Madison went all in — and all cheese.
Reminding everyone that yeah, this is definitely Wisconsin, the factory carved the word “Bernie” out of an impressive chunk of cheddar, even going the extra mile to top it with two small birds, perhaps in reference to the small bird that landed on Sanders’ podium one week ago.
Check out Instagram user @alikoestner, with a politically charged snap filter enveloping the bodacious chunk of dairy.
Even in it’s five minutes of election fame, Wisconsin can’t help itself from being as Wisconsin as Wisconsin can get. If politics can’t bring us together, at least we know cheese can. And at the end of the day, what more can you ask for?
