In photos: Madtown ‘freaks’ ring in Halloween weekend

Freakfest attendees gathered on State Street Saturday evening for a music-filled night, football fans bring spooky vibes to Camp Randall

Nothing screams Halloween weekend in Madtown like Freakfest and a home Badger football game.

Attendees of the festival included thousands of students from both the University of Wisconsin and other neighboring schools along with local community members. The concert-goers celebrated at the annual music festival in full costume to ring in the horror-filled holiday Saturday night on State Street.

There were performances throughout the night across three stages: WSUM / Ian’s Pizza Stage on Frances Street, Steve Brown Apartments 96.3 Country Star Stage and the Mountain Dew Capitol Stage on the Square.
