According to UW senior Phil Shackton, “The sign of a sophisticated drinker is the strength of their drink.” If such sentiment is true, then Mondays Bar, located at 523 State St., is full of sophisticated drinkers.
The drinks at Mondays are strong. Bartender Lucas Remington explains, “You get a lot of bang for your buck — there really is no need to order a double.” For the past 18 years, Mondays has been serving up powerful drinks in a comfortable, neighborhood-bar-type atmosphere.
