An 18-year-old male was temporarily knocked unconscious after being hit by a Metro Madison bus on University Avenue Monday afternoon.
The man did not sustain any serious injuries, but was taken to the hospital for observation, according to the Madison Police Department incident report.
The report said the man, who was in the bike lane, did not see the approaching bus as he dismounted his bike and moved right toward the curb.

According to the incident report, the man was wearing a hood over his head, which could have obstructed his vision.
MPD has not issued any citations at this time, and the investigation is still underway, the report said.
