In response to "Congress must redirect focus" by Sarah Howard:
The ends justify the means. The "ends" and the "means" all have the Almighty Dollar lurking behind them, somehow, somewhere. Keep on paying your taxes, little people, and licking those big tasty boots!
In response to "Illegal immigration can aid Dems" by Andrew Granias:
We need a 2,000 mile fence for a 2,000 mile border – it's simple arithmetic. And it's also the only way to prevent line-jumping. Why should Mexicans get to jump over the millions of people all over the world that are requesting entry to the USA? The "massive fine for employing illegals" plan would require a fool-proof national identity card for all citizens and legal residents. Good luck getting that done, I'm not sure even I want that.
In response to "Vote 'No' on marriage ban" by The Badger Herald Editorial Board:
Vote yes on the death penalty for gays (with DNA testing to prove they are homosexual.) If you vote no, you will be turned into salt!
In response to "Hussein's death will not advance U.S. goals for Iraq" by Max Schlusselberg:
"the gagging of the press"? Get over yourself… and stop drinking the bong water.
In response to "Women's issues at forefront" by Emily Friedman:
I'm just glad women can't vote. It would ruin the fabric of our society.
the only women who need to vote for democrats are sluts who sleep around and get impregnated all the time
In response to "Doyle plagued by corruption" by LaVonne Derksen:
Gawd…conservative at 22? Imagine how ornery you'll be by your first middle-management promotion.
In response to "Borat deftly critiques U.S. culture" by Rob Rossmeissl:
Congratulations on being apparently the first American news-source to realise [sic] that the world is laughing at America, not Kazakhstan.
In response to "Booze teaches valuable lesson" by Jeremy Elias:
This article hit me on a personal level, and because of the anonomity [sic] of this post, i can reveal why. I am a bed wetter. I always have been and according to the doctor i spoke to yesterday, i always will be. If you have any insight as another man plauged [sic] by this horrible affliction i would greatly appreciate it.
In response to "GOP faces losses; time is up" by Ryan Masse:
Bring on the radical center; extremely moderate legislation is on the way. If everything goes well, Bush will get all the credit (with a blind eye to the first 6 years). If it goes poorly, the democrats will take the blame. Either way, the Republicans will never be called a whiny opposition party, right?
"Soul-searching" for republicans, I believe is a sisyphean task 🙁
