On Saturday, as many as 30,000 gathered at the Capitol to protest Scott Walker’s policies and gather signatures on a petition for recall. The rally, which was organized by the group We Are Wisconsin, shattered many peoples expectations for attendance. According to the organizing group, United Wisconsin, the petition many attendees have chosen to sign has already amassed over 100,000 signatures, nearly a fifth of the amount required by January 17 for a recall.
