A crowd of over 30,000 poured into State Street Saturday night for costume, music and debauchery at Madison’s annual Halloween Party, Freakfest. Party-goers roamed up and down State Street in full costume into the early hours of the morning, and enjoyed a wide variety of musical performances to choose from. This years list included All Time Low, Neon Trees, The Ready Set and Murs. Despite its reputation for unruliness, arrests at Freakfest have steadily decreased each year since becoming a city-organized event in 2006.
