A 21-year-old Madison man suffered a skull fracture and brain bleed after he was knocked out during an altercation on Langdon Street early Saturday.
The second victim, a 22-year-old male, was punched in the head, according to a Madison Police Department incident report.
Police were called around 2 a.m. and arrived to the “chaotic” scene where there were around 50 people in the roadway.
Witnesses at the scene said the two male victims were injured by a suspect who was acting “wildly” after he left his jacket in a bar and was wondering where it was.
The suspect and an accomplice fled the scene before police arrived.
The suspect was described as a black male in his early 20s. He is 5-foot-11 inches tall with a muscular build and was wearing a brown t-shirt and an Atlanta Falcons hat.
The investigation is ongoing.
