Sarah Jaburek, a 20-year-old student at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh, was found dead in Nelson Hall, a residence building, Friday afternoon.
The autopsy of the victim’s body found complications with her heart. The cause of death is presumed to be from natural causes, but the official cause will be determined when lab results are returned later this week.
Police perused her dorm room Saturday afternoon while university counselors met with students to discuss the issue.
Jaburek is the second UW-Oshkosh student to die within the last two months.
Jason Hert, a 24 year-old, was found dead in September in his Delta Chi fraternity bedroom. After testing and autopsies, the coroner’s office concluded that a drug overdose was the cause of death.
The UW-Oshkosh campus, founded in 1871, is home to approximately 11,000 students, both undergraduate and graduate.
