State Street has long been a bustling hub of Madison activity. Before it was filled with inebriated undergraduates stumbling back to home with their faces packed full of Qdoba from Thursday to Saturday nights, Madison’s miracle mile had a more sober role as a center for commerce, housing dozens of more conventional businesses and institutions.
