Last night, the University of Wisconsin’s fashion magazine Moda held their second of four events for their campus fashion week.
“Couture and Cocktails: The White Party,” held at Prairie Fire in Union South, consisted of a night of wine, cake and mingling for student designers, models and writers. The event also featured a makeshift runway show showcasing three designers and seven models.
Attendees enjoyed a leisurely night of sipping wine while observing the best Madison has to offer.
The white-themed party fittingly served white cake to all attendees. “Couture and Cocktails” proved to be a classy celebration of the work the magazine has done this year.
Designer Daisy Lopez made last-minute alterations to the white gown she constructed in less than 48 hours.
After hair and make-up, the student models struck a pose as they waited for the runway show to begin.
Later in the evening, the models showcased their designers’ creations.
