Since the opening of Madison’s first outdoor skatepark last September, the city’s skate scene has been on the come up. In this video, a Madison skate crew provides insights into the “SK8 or DIE” lifestyle, and describes the pros and cons of being a skateboarder on the University of Wisconsin campus.
“There’s unlimited potential for skateboarders. There’s ledges, there’s stairs, there’s ramps — there’s everything you’d want,” Samuel Fisher, a UW freshman, said.
