One of the best places to end a night on the town is Qdoba Mexican Grill. Located on State Street, Qdoba is open until 3 a.m. and is a favorite of the locals. Any weekend night around bar time you will find the line out the door with people waiting for food.
One of the most popular items on the menu is the classic burrito. Stuffed with rice, beans, meat and toppings of your choice, it can satisfy anyone's hunger. Burritos are so popular there is an express line open Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights where people can pick up ready-made burritos rather then waiting in line to have them custom made — definitely a time saver.
If you like burritos but beans aren't your thing, I recommend getting a fajita. It has everything a burrito does, but there are vegetables instead of beans. These unfortunately are not on the express menu and you have to wait in line for them.
Qdoba also has signature burritos. They are more involved than the regular burritos, but definitely do not lack flavor or creativity.
If you really like burritos but want to watch your fat intake, then I suggest a naked burrito, which takes everything that comes on a burrito, puts it in a bowl and gives you the option of a tortilla on the side. This is a low-fat option that does not skimp on taste.
Burritos and fajitas are not the only things on the menu; Qdoba also has nachos, chips and dip, tacos, soup, taco salad and quesadillas.
With tasty, filling food, a fun atmosphere, speedy service and reasonable prices, Qdoba is one of the best late-night eats in Madison.
