Stress less with cookies. At least that’s my motto. Today’s recipe is a slight variation on your basic crispy oatmeal raisin cookie, using the original Quaker Oats recipe. Cream together one stick butter, 1/4 cup granulated sugar and 1/2 cup brown sugar. Whisk in one egg and one tablespoon vanilla. Add 3/4 cup flour, 1/2 teaspoon baking soda, pinch salt and one teaspoon cinnamon; stir until just combined. Last, incorporate 1 1/2 cups oatmeal, scant 1/2 cup crasins, 1/2 cup chopped pecans, and 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips. Drop heaping tablespoons of dough onto a greased cookie sheet and bake at 350 degrees for 15-20 minutes. Enjoy!
