#TheRealUW is being called “white” and in the same breath asked, “What else are you?” It’s being asked about powwows and spirit animals while also being told, “But you’re not really native.” It’s being told my mom is the real thing, but I’m not quite. Not NDN enough and not white enough either. #TheRealUW is apparently a place where biraciality doesn’t exist. What am I?
