Two teenage males were arrested for allegedly stealing cellphones Tuesday night on Lake Street.
The suspects — ages 16 and 17 — had allegedly taken the phones directly out of the victims’ hands, according to a Madison Police Department incident report. The incidents were reported separately, but both victims were able to give good descriptions of the suspects.
Officers located the suspects on the 400 block of State Street at a bus stop where both of the stolen phones were recovered.

Both suspects were arrested for theft from person, according to the report.
