Lawrence A. Hansen, a neuroscientist at the University of California-San Diego, came to the Wisconsin Institutes for Discovery to defend the rights of animals and speak about the cruelty with which some scientists treat animal subjects. He also elaborated on the deceptive language they use in order to get their malicious plans approved.
