Weather forecast favors UW

I have been going to Wisconsin football games for three years now and I’ve never experienced poor weather while in attendance. No rain, no snow, and I can’t even remember a particularly windy game day. It looks like that is all going to change this Saturday as the weathermen are predicting heavy thunderstorms.?

So the fans might not be too thrilled about the forecast, but i don’t think the Badgers will mind a little rain. Wisconsin is know for the power rushing attack, and a wet field should mean plenty of carries for the stable of running backs. UW will have no trouble keeping the ball on the ground.?

Michigan State, on the other hand, relies on a passing attack that utilizes multiple?receiver?sets and timing routes. The Spartan wide outs won’t be able to make those quick cuts on slick turf and that plays right into the Badgers hands. Kirk Cousins and the MSU passing attack poses a threat to a weak Wisconsin secondary, so UW would much rather see the Spartan running backs take a lot of carries.?

A sloppy field will result in a true battle in the trenches, and that is something the Badgers certainly wont mind.?

Of course, the forecast could be completely wrong and we could experience perfect gameday weather. But rain or shine, Saturday’s game will be a good one.?
