As you may or may not be aware, His Holiness the Dalai Lama is in Wisconsin.
No, he’s not lost. In fact, it’s his 10th time in Madison, and he’s here by invitation of his friend Dr. Richard Davidson, neuroscientist at the University of Wisconsin. March 9, His Holiness will take part in a panel at the Overture Center, which will focus on “how we can cultivate well-being in ourselves, our communities and the world.”
If you’re hoping to see His Holiness in person you’ll likely be disappointed unless you are very sneaky — the event is sold out. But there’s still hope. The Center for Healthy Minds will livestream the event, but you have to sign up for it.
You can find the link for this here.
The panel is also accessible through His Holiness’ official website. There, you can also find a livestream of his Tuesday appearance at the Madison Masonic Center, where he will teach from a Tibetan Buddhist text titled “Eight Verses of Mind Training.”
